- Four-time Olympian, 2022 World Championships Silver and Bronze Medalist, 2 x Pan-Am Games All-Around Champion, and 8 x National Team Champion.
- Recently awarded the Order of Canada.
- Awarded the 2024 Olympic Fair Play Award, which recognizes athletes who exemplify the spirit of fair play, sportsmanship, and respect for others.
- Named one of the greatest 15 athletes in Nova Scotian history, earning herself the Order of Nova Scotia presented by the Lieutenant-Governor.
- Known for breaking barriers and supporting women in sport.

The new community hall is now under construction, with the foundation and floor being poured summer/fall 2022, and framing starting in March 2023. The goal is to have it completed for Fall 2023 and we need your help! With the increased cost of construction materials, there is a funding gap of $250,000.
