Matt Redmond
Rotarian of the Year
2017-18
 
Our “Rotarian of the Year Award” is provided to a Club Member who has provided outstanding service to our Club over the last year.
 
Matt joined The Rotary Club of Truro in 2014 and has served on various Committees and the Board.  He has volunteered as the Weekly Bulletin Editor and has applied his computer skills to assisting with our “Clubrunner” communications system, our Rotary Auction fundraiser, our Yearbook fundraiser, and our more recent Christmas Index website.
 
In our International Service, as International Service Chair, he has been supported several of our international initiatives, including developing a system for collecting and analyzing digital medical records in Africa.
 
Matt also can be counted on to complete volunteer canvassing for our Club projects and other Club service and fellowship activities.
 
Matt, wife Amy and two sons live in Truro. He is employed as a Faculty member in Information Technology  at the Nova Scotia Community College in Truro.
 
The recipient of The Rotary Club of Truro’s 2018 Rotarian of the Year is Matt Redmond.
