Barbara Goit

Barbara began her Rotary career on Nov 1, 1994 when she joined the Rotary Club of Truro.  She resigned her membership Jun 26, 2007 when she left her job as Executive Director at the Colchester East Hants Hospital Foundation to take on the role of Chief Development officer at the QEII Hospital Foundation in Halifax.  During her first time with our club she served on the board in various avenues of service and was our first female president (1998-99).  She was named a Paul Harris Fellow in 2006.  Barbara has returned to Truro and a fund raising consultant and  brings her work and Rotary experience back to the help our club.

Sharon Crowe

Sharon Crowe joined the Rotary Club of Truro originally on Mar 5, 2007. Because of job pressures during the last stages of fund raising for and construction of the new hospital, she resigned from the club effective Mar 16, 2009. During her original time as a club member Sharon was active with several of the club’s projects and was just getting started when she left.  She returns to us as Executive Director of the Colchester East Hants Health Centre Foundation and will bring her organizational talents and skills back to the club.
