The 10 member Rotary Friendship Exchange team from Estonia and Finland spent a couple of hours in Truro on Sunday, September 17th at the fall farm Social hosted by the Rotary Club of Truro. About 50 Rotarians, friends and family enjoyed the event, held at the home of Laurie and Mike Sandeson, there was local food and fun for all. The team exchanged Club banners with President Alana and gave a brief description of Rotary in their home countries. They also had the opportunity to learn a bit about our area while enjoying their meal before moving on to their next stop.
It was a great day for everyone. Special thanks to Laurie and Mike for hosting and to Judy Nicholson for her hard work and organizational skills.
