Jim Retson from the Rotary Club of Kenora joined us for our June 18th meeting. He shared with us that his club has about 70 members, 35% - 40% of which are women. He went on to share that his club's last three presidents were also female.
The Rotary Club of Kenora contributes $10,000 annually to Shelterbox https://www.shelterboxcanada.org/ as well as $10,000 annually towards building new schools in Guatemala.
The Rotary Club of Kenora is hopeful to have a First Nations Rotary Club North of Kenora in the coming months.
