Thanks to those who gave up their Saturday golf game, gardening or just about any other activity on a beautiful morning to tramp up /down the ditches at the Robie Street / Hwy 102 interchange picking up assorted waste which has been launched from the windows and the backs of trucks over the last year.

Included in the pick-up party were; Ken McLean, Rod Jones, Ed MacDonald, Brian Matthews, Chester MacPhee, Ken MacDonald, Tom Savoury and Mike Topley.

Some 34 bags of garbage and a small kitchen stove were collected! All adjourned for a well earned coffee when the work was done.

See you next year, same time, same place.

Ken MacLean won the prize for most interesting find with pair of jeans complete with matching underwear!

The most commonly found items were Tim Hortons cups followed closely by MacDonald's cups.
