We are pleased to welcome Al Cooze as the Club's newest Rotarian. Al was recruited by Ken MacLean, who had a hunch in church one Sunday, turned around and saw Al and simply asked, "would you like to join Rotary", to which Al simply replied, "yes".
Al recently moved to Truro from NFLD, with his wife. He enjoys travel, golf, and music. We've been told he'll play any brass instrument he can get his hands on! We are hoping Al will play some Christmas Carols on the piano at our Christmas Party.
Al has already helped with service work. He has been active with other service groups such as Kinsman and the Alzheimer's Society. Before he retired, he was the General Manager for Zellars.
Al is excited to be a part of our Club and get involved in the community and we are excited to have him.
