The Rotary Club of Truro inducted two new members at their meeting on Oct 22nd. 
 
Matthew Hunter is Truro's national champion in swimming and kayak. A graduate of CEC, Matthew works at both the Holiday Inn and Cineplex in addition to being involved in numerous sporting activities in town and around the province. He is an active fundraiser and a person who pushes the boundaries of what a person is capable of.  Matthew remains very ambitious and recently began a triathlon career.  His current goals include becoming more independent, working with animals and honing his triathlon skills. He is thrilled to be joining the Rotary Club of Truro.

Adam Harris is a Lawyer specialising in civil litigation at the law firm Burchell MacDougall LLP.  Adam grew up in Bible Hill and attended Saint Mary’s University. He attended the University of Ottawa for law school and articled and worked in the area of personal injury at a law firm in Ottawa. After a brief stint in Pictou County, he returned home. Adam, his wife Lisa and son Casey, live in Truro.  He is looking forward to being more active in his community through Rotary.
