Community Service Award Winner Active Internationally

It is difficult to identify all the help that Leo has provided to individuals in our community as he quietly goes about doing for others without the need for recognition. It sometimes seems that he is involved with every project of note in the community. In addition to being a major contributor to the capital campaign for the construction of the new Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Leo has been involved in the conversion of Truro’s former fire station to the new Farmers’ Market as well as in improvements to the Truro Golf Club. He also provides his professional services through missionary work in Guatemala along with other community and congregation work within his parish. Although not a Rotarian, Leo embodies the Rotary motto “Service above Self".
