The Rotary Club of Truro has been awarded the District Governor's Citation for work toward achieving all the requirement of the Rotary Citation by the time of the District Conference. Our club was only one of 10 in the District to receive the award.

The Rotary Citation was formerly known as the President's Citation and the date for finally completing all the requirement has been moved to the end of the Rotary Year. Achieving the Rotary Citation indicates that the club has worked hard in meeting all it's obligations as a Rotary Club in all Avenues of Service and is a well run and balanced club.

The award was presented to President Alana by Vice President Ryan Beazley who was at the recent District Conference in St. John's.  Alana said how proud she was of the effort that many have made towards achieving the award.  She also said that while it was a real team effort, the citation would be hanging in her office! smiley

Congratulations to all.
