Christmas Index Program Gets into Gear

 

The 2018 edition of the Colchester Christmas Index program got into high gear as we got closer to the Holiday season.   

 

Our Christmas Program exists to help families at Christmas time that may be facing financial challenges and stressful situations.  We understand there isn't always extra money for special occasions like Christmas. The Christmas Index is a cooperative effort of groups and individuals in Colchester County dedicated to providing assistance for those in need at Christmas time. The objective is to ensure those needing assistance receive it. The ultimate goal would be to have each family that requires assistance be matched to a group, family or individual.

 

There is a lot of activity going on at the Christmas index Center at 136 Esplanade in Truro.

 

Members of the CEC Interact Club helped to move toys and materials into the center.

 

Rotarians began the process of sorting the toys and other gifts at the Nov 26th meeting.

 

 

Many will help the EMC paramedics with their Toy drive on Dec 1st t Walmart.  Donations may also be dropped off at the following locations.
