Medical Equipment Lending Program Helps Many
Rotary Club of
The Rotary Club of Truro has long been involved in helping people in the community who need medical equipment. Wheel chairs, lift chairs, walkers, hospital beds, medical bath lifts are loaned out. The Veterans and Rotary work together to meet the needs of individuals.
If a piece of equipment is not available and there is a need, the Rotary Club may come forward to buy this equipment for loan to the individual. Imagine being confined to your home for want of the needed equipment. Then imagine a scooter being delivered which you could not afford to buy. What joy in being part of your community again!
Social Services often makes referrals. Rotary encourages donations from those who benefit by the program.
