Rotary Club of Truro Bulletin - Jan 11
The Start: Laurie led the club in the singing of O Canada and the Rotary grace.
 
Chair Introduction: Chester McPhee - Chester shared that he has been a member of the club for approximately 9 years and, modestly, he left it at that.
 
Attendance:  64%
 
Fun Fines: No fine today.
 
Happy Mug: Kevin, Chester, Mark and Meg were all happy rotarians.
 
50/50 Draw: Meg held the lucky ticket, but the Joker was still recovering from last week.

    • Lydia shared some sad news that Sammy, a long time partner of the club in Cameroon, has passed away
    • Sammy was a key person from the Rotary Club of Bafoussam which hosted our first project in North West Cameroon, the Repair and Equipping of the GS Illum School.
    • Sammy was a supporter of many projects during the past 5 years
    • A visit to the Sustainable Livestock Foundation Training Center in Bamenda, Cameroon hosted by Sammy Auetau.
    • Sammy Awetua of the Sustainable Livestock Foundation shares tips on Poultry raising in NW Cameroon, Africa: Poultry Health, Feeding, Vaccination, Poultry diseases, selling in the market.
