Sunday Agyekum, is a Rotarian from Ghana, West Africa. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Cape Coast Central, District 9102. He was born in Ghana on 18th March, 1983 and he is the oldest of six. He has a wife, Ellen and they’re expecting to welcome their first child in October this year. He is actually a boy and his name is Amiyine which means “He knows God”

Sunday migrated to Canada, January this year as a Permanent Resident to join his wife who is a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Moncton City Hospital. Prior to his coming to Canada, he worked as the Corporate Affairs Manager of Groupe Nduom, a multi-national company with over 50 companies in Ghana, Togo, Liberia, UK and the United States.

Sunday holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana but for a fresh and humble beginning with his new life in Canada, he decided to go back to school to attain some Canadian Education. He is currently reading two programs; Supply Chain and Logistics at Eastern College and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management at Crandall University, both in Moncton.

Sunday has been a Rotarian for the past 4 years and for 3 consecutive years, he was the Director of Public Image for the Rotary Club of Cape Coast Central from 2015 to 2018. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and has attended 4 District Conferences and two International Conventions; South Korea 2016 in Seoul and Toronto, 2018.
