Our Rotarian of the Year Award recognizes a Rotarian who has contributed to the Club in a meaningful and above average way over the past year. This year this recognition goes to:
Matt Redmond.
We also have a recognition for a Rotarian who has contributed to our Club and Rotary over multiple years – sometimes referred to as our lifetime achievement award. We encountered an issue this year as we had an outstanding person that we wanted to honour, but RI has temporarily suspended the “Avenues of Service Citation” until at least this summer pending a review of the criteria. Our Committee wanted to honour a Rotarian, and we wanted to do it this year. Undeterred we created a “Rotarian Service Citation” to temporarily or permanently replace the “Avenues of Service Citation”. This year’s recipient of the “Rotarian Service Citation” is an outstanding Rotarian:
PP and PDG Jim Goit.
Congratulation to the recognition recipients.
