Jim enjoys skiing and bicycling in his spare time. He and Barbara have 2 sons who live in Ottawa with their families which include 4 grandchildren.
Jim gave a fast paced presentation on making the best use of the Club's information management system ClubRunner. He stated that every member of the club should know how to:
Update their Information Profile
Use the Club's internal Directory and e-mail program
Subscribe to the Club's Event and Speaker Calendar
Get the ClubRunner Mobile App on your phone
The fact is that while 30% of members has logged in during the past month another 30% have either not logged into the system in the last year and some have NEVER logged in. People are missing out on tools to make their lives as Rotarians easier.
Jim highlighted a number of tools in the "My Clubrunner" section of the member area including the Member Profile, the Club Photo Directory and the email system. He also showed the various forms the club's events and calendar tools and how to easily access and add the items to your personal electronic calendar.
Members were most interested in the Clubrunner Mobile App that Jim demoed. Several downloaded it and immediately saw the benefit.
Jim was thanked by the chair.
