- Ted was happy to announce his wife finally had a diagnosis of a health issue that has bothered her for 4 months.

Committee Reports and Announcements:
- Alana and update on Strategic Planning
- Mark Mason and overview of Christmas Index meeting with partners. A very productive meeting and lots of positive responses re: role of Rotary
- Ted reminded members for tomorrow night’s directors meeting at the CIBC Boardroom.
Speaker: Speaker for the day was Joe Ballard. The topic was Victoria Park.
Joe is a Historic Preservation Consultant, a staunch heritage advocate and architectural historian, and owner of one the oldest commercial properties in Truro.
Joe is a board member of many organizations including the Colchester Historical Society where he is past president; Truro Heritage Committee; and Heritage Trust of NS where he is current President. Joe is the Cultural Resource Manager at Vineberg and Fulton. The company offers planning and treatment for built heritage.
Joe provided an historical overview of the park and discussed potential opportunities the park offers for local development.
Rotarian Alana Hirtle thanked Joe for providing insight into the history and activities re: Victoria Park.
