Rotary Club Assists CEC Interact Club with Fundraising Objectives

The Rotary Club of Truro is pleased to present the Interact Club of Cobequid Education Centre (CEC) with a cheque for $1,500 to support their fundraising efforts.
The Interact Club had set a goal for themselves of sending $1,500 to go to the Children's Wish Foundation. The Rotary Club offered to match whatever they rose up to $1,500. The Interact group more than met that objective by raising over $2,300 themselves with a number of fundraisers.
Club President Jim Goit and Vice President Laurie Sandeson presented Interact Club President Hilary MacIntyre with the Rotary Club's contribution at there regular meeting May 9th at CEC.

This enthusiastic group of young people are changing people's lives in a very direct way and are to be commended. We look forward to them continuing to do great things.
