Rotarian Receives Special Awards from Russian Government for War Time Service.

Long time member of the Rotary Club of Truro, Riley Marshall was one of several men presented with the Ushakov Medal for bravery for their Second World War efforts during the Murmansk Run. The Murmansk run saw convoys from around the world sail into the Arctic Ocean to deliver much needed war materials to the Soviet Union. Temur Tairov, a representative of The Russian Federation, presented the medals on Monday Dec, 17, 2012.
