Our Club’s “Rotarian of The Year” recognizes the contributions of a Club member over the past year to The Rotary Club of Truro. This year's winner is Dave Mills.
In the past year, Dave Mills has been very busy in our Club in various volunteer roles:
    • Chair of the Community Needs Committee,
    • Member of the Auction Fundraising Committee,
    • Member of the Yearbook Fundraising Committee,
    • Rotary Team Captain- Colchester Community Workshops Foundation Golf Tournament
    • Atlantic Path Project- 3rd Highest in Participant Sign Ups
    • Club Trading Banner- Design and Printing provided.
    • Chair of Community Service – 1 of our busiest Avenues of Service Areas,
    • Member of the Board of Directors.

Dave is a hardworking and valuable volunteer in all these tasks.  Although we may agree that this past year was a significant volunteer effort, to Dave it was pretty well an average year.  In his 11½ years of membership since June 2000, Dave has served on the Board for 9 years, he has Chaired or Deputy-Chaired the Community Service Avenue for 6 years, and worked or chaired various committees.

Dave is a committed, willing and dependable Rotary volunteer, who “gets things done, done right, and done on time”.

A sustaining “Paul Harris Fellow” since 2008, and our 2012 “Rotarian of The Year”, is Dave Mills.
