Moved by a presentation made at a Rotary Club of Truro meeting concerning the battle to end Polio, the staff and clients of the Colchester Community Workshops looked for a way to help.  They stuck on the idea of a "Pennies for Polio" campaign and over the past year they collected donations in a penny jar in their New-to-You Store.  Contributions were made by clients, staff and customers in the store.

Once the money was counted and rolled, the $1206 was donated to the Rotary Club of Truro to be directed to the Rotary International campaign to end Polio.  This was an exciting venture for the Clients of the workshop and demonstrates just how generous the people of Truro really are.
