Rotary Club President Jim Gould presented cheques totally $3,000 to the Colchester Community Workshops to support their development of a commercial bakery at their Young street facility.  The bakery will not only provide items to be sold in the workshop's Convenience store and Cafe but it will provide another avenue for training for clients of the workshop.

The Rotary Club of Truro matched a grant from District 7820 to provide the amount that will be used to purchase a commercial stove and fridge for the new facility.

Shown in the photo accepting the cheque is Diane Standing, Executive Director of the Colchester Community Workshops Foundation.  In the background (on left) with staff and clients of the workshop is DG Stella Roy who was on hand for the presentation.
