The Rotary Club of Truro presented a cheque for $10,000 to the Arthritis Society - Nova Scotia Division in support of their Camp JoinTogether program.
Camp JoinTogether is offered to Maritime children and youth living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). Campers at JoinTogether can share a common experience with peers and engage in camp activities. The donation from the Rotary Club of Truro will allow ten young people to go to camp.
Pictured accepting the cheque are campers MacKenzie and Jenna. Behind them are (L-R) Rotarian Christine Blair, Jone Mitchell, Director of Development, Maritime Region at The Arthritis Society and District Governor Jim Goit.
