Christine Blair Gets Village Volunteer Award.

The Village of Bible Hill has honoured Rotary Club of Truro member Christine Blair for volunteer service. The village has planted an elm tree at Holy Well Park and placed a plaque in recognition of her work.

Christine has served on the Bible Hill village commission for almost 17 years as both commissioner and chairwoman. In addition to the Rotary Club where she has been a member since 1995 including a term as president in 2006-07, Christine's volunteering has been extensive and includes being instrumental in the village's fire hall expansion project, volunteering with St. David's United Church and holding the president's position of the Bible Hill Cemetery Company.

Christine is a county councillor, a representative for Bible Hill on the Truro and District Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Colchester Regional Development Association. Congratulations Christine for your "Service Above Self"!
