August is Membership Month

August is Rotary Membership and Extension Month, the perfect
time to share our passion for Rotary. Maybe you know some business associates
or family members who would make great Rotarians, but you never considered them
for club membership. Take the time this month to talk to them, tell them why
you think they'd make great Rotarians. Bring them as a guest to one of our meetings
so they can see what we are all about. If they seem interested, let any one of
the Directors know and we’ll help you process the membership application proposal.
The Rotary Club of Truro would like to get back to the 65
member mark so that means we will all have to pitch in and bring in new
members. The membership committee will
be working on a Membership attraction and Retention strategy for the year and
we’ll need your help.
The Rotary Basics guide is a good place to start to let
people know about Rotary.
