Committee Reports:
- Lydia reported on the Cameroon project. The funds from all the partners had been received in the country and the cooperators there were beginning to make progress towards building and completing the project.
- Jim Gould reported on Bollywood and thanked everyone who had helped make it a successful event. He reported that there had been some issues with food and service this year that would have be corrected another year. There was also confusion with winners of the balloon draw and problems with prize allocation. There would have to be discussion about options as some Rotarians felt the how it had ended did not meet all elements of the Four Way Test.
- Ken MacLean thanked everyone for their support of the Cheer for Charity program. While it had not made a lot of money for the Club (about $900) it had generated a lot of awareness for Rotary.
- Larry reported that there had been 187 completed contracts and the committee was in the final process of getting picture approval. It is that approval by the client that triggers the invoicing process. He stated that they were on track for completion by the end of November to go to the layout and print stage. The new process had had it's teething pains but the hard work of Matt and others had pulled it through. It should be much smoother in the future.
- Ryan reported on the One Horse Town event thanking all those who had participated. In addition to the proceeds from the bottle returns (As yet unknown) the rewards the club had been given a signed Dean Brody guitar that will be auctioned off and the proceeds returned to the club. The guitar is logoed by the sponsor of the event Coors and is also signed by Chad Brownlee as well as the River Town Saints who also performed that evening.
