Rotary Club of Truro Bulletin - Mar 7
The Start: Kirk led the club in the singing of O Canada and in a moment of personal spiritual reflection.

Attendance:  65%
 
Fun Fines: Rotarians who wear not wearing a name tag during the meeting made the usual contribution.

Visiting Rotarians: Gord Henkin was a welcome guest.
 
50/50 Draw: Judy produced the lucky ticket. Unfortunately, the Joker was not in the mood to let go of the pot.
 
Club Notices:
  • District Conference information will be emailed out to members
  • Pres. Kevin acknowledged International Womens Day and thanked female Rotarians who contribute so much to Rotary
  • The club needs one additional member by the end of March, please contact the membership committee if you know any potential members
  • International Update: Lydia shared that there is a project underway to reallocate children in Cameroon amid concern that the building may collapse
  • Adventures in Citizenship has selected a successful applicant from the CEC Interact Club and travel preparations are underway
