Colchester East Hants Hospice Society Benefits from Rotary Donation
The Rotary Club of Truro presented the Colchester East Hants Hospice Society with $15,000.00 worth of Atlantic Superstore gift cards for their Food From the Heart Program.

Club Provides Support to Arthritis Society
The Rotary Club of Truro presented a cheque for $10,000 to the Arthritis Society - Nova Scotia Division in support of their Camp JoinTogether program.
 
Camp JoinTogether is offered to Maritime children and youth living with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). Campers at JoinTogether can share a common experience with peers and engage in camp activities. The donation from the Rotary Club of Truro will allow ten young people to go to camp.

Club Provides Support to Maggie's Place
The Rotary Club of Truro presented $7,000 to support programming at Maggie's Place Family Resource Centre.
 
Kathie Sutherland from Maggie's Place spoke to the club about the various programs that the Centre operates and how important it is to our community.  She then accepted the cheque from Rotarian Alana Hirtle.
 
Supported provided to Scotia Pool
The Rotary Club recently made an $8,500 contribution to the Scotia Pool Society that went toward the purchase of a chair lift to help disabled people in and out of the pool.
