The Start: Al led the club in the singing of O Canada and Larry led the club in a moment of personal spiritual reflection.

Fun Fines: Rotarians who did not provide a suggestion to the Bethel Trust committee loaded up Al's cup.
 
Happy Mug: Ted, Jim, Catherine, Lydia, Brian
 
Visitors and Guests: Catherine's husband Tom was a welcome guest.
 
50/50 Draw: Wayne came up with right numbers, but the Joker had already left by the time he found his ticket.
 
Member Health: Brian Matthews had his operation and is recovering well. smiley

Additional Information:
Alana shared details of the new meeting format which is intended to keep meetings on schedule and promote member attendance. Full details will be emailed, but some of the highlights include:
 
2016 Luncheon Calendar:
  • 6   - Club Lunches (Name TBD, but intended for Club business)
  • 6   - Theme Lunches
  • 10 - Speaker Lunches
  • 1   - AGM
  • 3   - Holidays not included
  • 23 - Lunches total
 Format for Speaker Lunches:
  • Speaker lunches will not have committee reports, secretary report or president report
  • Chair should welcome speaker, conduct appropriate introductions and arrange for introduction/thanks prior to meeting
  • Chair should call to order at 12:20 (ring bell firmly)
  • O Canada, Personal Spiritual Reflection, Visiting Rotarians (opportunity to address club), Guests, Member Health, Attendance, Happy Mug, 50/50, Fun Fine should all be completed by 12:30
  • There will also be an opportunity to share notices and reminders prior to 12:30
  • Speakers will have a 30 minute time limit (including questions), chair should arrange a 2 minute signal
  • Chair should manage questions
  • Meeting should adjourn no later than 12:05
